Rankin

For years now I have loved photography and I love finding out about new photographers. Rankin is an old favourite of mine. His photographs are strong and each as powerful as the next. He recently started a new magazine called Hunger and I love it. Page after page is filled with rich photographs just waiting to be lusted over.

Here are a few recent photographs I found on Rankin's website that I love.

Sex and the City's Newest Fan

Over the past few months I have been making my way through the Sex and the City boxsets for the first time and I'm hooked! It's a must watch for anyone that loves fashion. Carrie's apartment plays a massive role within the show and I am very envious. The Telegraph online have posted this bird's eye view of the apartment by Inaki Aliste Lizarralde. And who knows maybe one day I'll have an apartment as amazing as this one day.

Kangol at V

I got back from V last night after a very hot and busy weekend.

Here are a few photos from backstage. I'm hoping to get some more from the photographer soon.

Someone thought it would be a good idea to take a hula hoop with us for the weekend so we thought we should try it out before hand. We soon realised we weren't that good!

The wristbands that let me move around backstage this weekend

The lovely Ed Sheeran popped in to get some Kangol aviator sunglasses.

He even picked up a pair of sunglasses for his mummy!

Oue biggest Kangol fan that just kept coming back from more!

V Festival

This weekend is V Festival and I have been asked to help with the Kangol VIP gifting backstage. I'm really excited as it should be a great weekend and I'll get to meet some celebs!

The pressure is on to what I should wear. I need to be dressed fashionably but practically. Here are a few pieces I think would fit the bill.

Stay cool and on trend with Kangol's wide selection of hats. They have some great styles prefect for festivals. You can even buy from their A/W range already.

Toughen up any look with this amazing studded belt.

This is a great dress if you love to accessorise. Add the Topshop belt for a more rocky look or add a floral print to keep your look feminine.

Monochrome is a massive trend for A/W so get ahead of the game with this great printed skirt. Wear with a brightly top or shirt.

I love this Stella McCartney inspired jumper and is a great example of how to stay warm and fashionable at a festival.

I love this playsuit. Just be prepared to strip to go to the toilet!

A classic choice for every festival.

Another option of how to stay warm in the evenings. This jacket will get you through the winter in full military fashion.

Knowing the time at festivals is always important so you don't miss your favourite bands. Save your phone battery with this classic Casio with a fun twist. I know I'll be wearing mine.

Barry M's latest Nail Paint is this amazing Chameleon range. How inventive can you be with your nails?

What I wore

So my weekend of birthdays and celebrations is over but here's what I did end up wearing.

Night out

I love this dress by Motel Rocks. I wore with black platform courts and a patent black vintage handbag

BBQ

This was a perfect length for the slightly breezy weather today. I bought an amazing nude waist belt from Primark the other day with a rose gold panel.

Party time

This weekend it's two of my friend's birthday so they're arranged a night out and a bbq to celebrate. As soon as I tell anyone I study fashion they immediately look at what I'm wearing, so in preparation I've been searching online for my ideal trans-seasonal dresses.

Night Out

Great way to add a bit of sparkle to any night out

If sequins are too much then pick a metallic fabric in order to shine

This has my name written all over it. I love the studded collar!

BBQ

Amazing colour for both summer and the autumn

Add black leather and some studs for a perfect rock chic outfit

A change of accessories will take this dress from summer to autumn

Sleeveless shirt dress, denim, cut outs = prefect summer dress
